Weekly Predictions... Pisces (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

This is no gentle start to a year: 2013 comes in like a lion. Maybe you have plans for the week ahead that you already know will prove draining on your energies although exhilarating for your heart; on the other hand, there could be offers, invitations and messages that get you moving and motoring. If you do have some time to yourself, you could use it to check on a matter that has been bothering you for a few weeks; you might also consider the various options should a situation not have the outcome you were hoping for.

Such an exercise will prove very useful, even if you do not have implement those ideas in January. Being prepared is always a good thing.

Weekly Predictions... Aquarius (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

Are you feeling that Mars energy? If you’re up and at ‘em on Tuesday morning, you’re certainly getting a taste of Mars, and if a situation is smoking hot, that’s Mars too. This planet is a proverbial double-edged sword: it gives you the drive and the courage to meet a daunting task; it generates passion of the heart; and it tends to create opposition and encourage arguments.

So, decide where you’re going to focus your energy, and even if people are argumentative and obstacles appear in your path, don’t meet fire with fire. With Saturn also in the mix, there is sure to be a fact that must be faced and an onerous task to be accomplished: once you have done so, you’re going to feel terrific.

Weekly Predictions... Capricorn (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

Does the start to every year get you fired up or worn down? Certainly there is an argument for keeping a low profile this week, using the time to let the unconscious mind work on problems and strategies. However, if you have big plans and little time, don’t lose your sense of proportion. Uranus and Pluto haven’t left the building, so there is still a need to be careful about what you say and to whom: you can never take words back.

Indeed, actions have an irrevocable quality about them, so if you’re not sure whether or not you can live with the consequences of your statements, bite that lip. Put your energies instead into clearing out clutter, and lightening your load.

Weekly Predictions... Sagittarius (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

If you’ve piled your plate high with things to do, people to see and places to go, don’t be surprised if you have a melt-down. Take the pedal off the metal, please. It is the first week of the first month of 2013 but that doesn’t mean everything on your hit-list has to be accomplished. Even if all the events on your current agenda are the sort that fill you with happiness, eliminate some of the extraneous activities and focus on the ones that count.

Some of the influences that presided over Christmas are still in play, so the climate of confrontation continues. However, instead of allowing arguments to rumble on or feelings to fester, take the higher path, and watch them melt away.

Weekly Predictions... Scorpio (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

Saturn may have stayed away from the Christmas party but he’s not going to miss the New Year celebrations, by which I mean you can only go on so long avoiding an unpleasant truth. The chances are this truth is of a financial nature, and the sooner you get behind the matter the better you’re going to feel. However, if you’re reading this and you know there is something else you’re not dealing with, start sharpening your sword! Fortunately, Jupiter is on hand to lighten the load and provide you with the luck and opportunity you need; it may also preside over a happy gathering.

Still, there is work to be done, Scorpio: roll up your sleeves.

Weekly Predictions... Libra (31 Dec,12 - 6 Jan,'13)

This may not be the gentlest start to a New Year, but if you want life to change for the better you’ve got to face a reality or two and perform some difficult tasks. Then again, what appears to be difficult for you could be a piece of cake for someone else. Forget about pleasing other people or trying to reach a compromise: sometimes you just have to do what you have to do! Uranus and Pluto continue to put you under pressure, which in most cases means accepting that some things cannot go on in their present form: they can be changed or abandoned.

You may well have been considering all your options over the past couple of weeks, and now would be the right time to make a choice.

Weekly Predictions... Virgo (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

It’s a New Year and a fresh start. And maybe that fresh start requires binning a few ideas... Now would be the time to reflect on those things that have blighted your life, and even if you feel you might be letting someone down or putting yourself in an unfavourable light, do you really want to go on perpetuating the situation. Change might happen all by itself, but when it concerns your hopes and ambitions, you have to be prepared to make waves and sometimes be the bad guy.

Jupiter will continue to beam blessings on you from the high point of your solar chart, and in the main these blessings come in the form of opportunities, which need to be grabbed, regardless.

Weekly Predictions... Leo (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan.'13)

Even though the New Year is here, it seems there is something of a hang-over from Christmas. Now, this may mean a good de-tox and a few less calories could be a plan, but it is more likely that feelings and opinions shared over the holidays have given you much to think about. Keep thinking, Leo, rather than taking people to task about what they may have said or done: once into next week you’ll have a better grip on situations, and you’ll be able to judge what is really important and what should be allowed to pass into the history books without mention.

The weekend looks to be the perfect time for a ‘spring-clean’ whether of the home or dusty old belief-systems.

Weekly Predictions... Cancer (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

A new year begins and there are some surprises to come. The area of relationships is full of sparks, which in some cases means your love life is moving in a wonderful direction and in others that someone is rocking the boat and making you feel less than comfortable. As a general rule of thumb, don’t take things too personally – least said soonest mended is the best strategy – and even if you feel justified in taking a strong line, wait until the dust has settled before you do so.

In an ideal world, you’d be using these unusual and dynamic influences to bring about a new order in your life; and, of course, it ever there was a time to start over it is on 1st January.

Weekly Predictions... Gemini (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

Are you in the mood for a revolution? I hope so because these influences are all about breaking the mould, and change of the most welcome variety. Maybe you’re going somewhere you’ve never been to before, either in the real sense of foreign places or in the metaphorical way of making a cutting edge move; then again someone could be bringing new experiences right to your door.

All planetary transits have their plus and minus sides, so it is possible that instead of a set of refreshing incidents you’ll be dealing with a situation that is contentious and certainly inconvenient. If this is indeed the case, don’t try to rewind the tape; adapt and move on.

Weekly Predictions... Taurus (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan, '13)

As the New Year comes in Mercury enters the zone of far horizons – a perfect metaphor for the next 12 months. You can go far in both the literal and figurative sense, and it should start from day one. There is a lot of change in the air, of which you should be the architect, but if you have to respond to unforeseen events, you’ll waste more energy resisting and complaining than simply getting on with it! There could also be a residue of Christmas to deal with, whether this means you’ve been left with a major clear-up exercise or there are some hard feelings to resolve.

Either way, as soon as you start the healing process, the better for everyone.

Weekly Predictions... Aries (31 Dec,'12 - 6 Jan,'13)

We just can’t get rid of Uranus and Pluto. They are the unwanted guests who hang around creating a lot of work, if not considerable hassle, for us all. However, there is a certain poetry in the way this configuration etches itself into the New Year since the process of demolition and re-building – a theme at the heart of Uranus and Pluto - continues in force throughout 2013.

It is a process we will see in world events and, of course, in our own lives. I like to think of this era as a Renaissance: out of the ashes of the old great new movements are being born.

But like all such periods, we cannot fully appreciate their shape and texture; it takes history to do that. So, whatever your week brings in the way of revolutionary developments and brave new ideas, never forget you are helping to re-shape the world. Happy New Year!

Leo Ascendant Traits

Leo rising people cannot help but be noticed. They radiate a special energy and magnetism that gets others' attention. Sometimes it's because they are loud people who pay a lot of attention to their personal appearance (especially their hair!); other times it's due to a regal manner that simply demands interest from others.

Leo Ascendant people are very self-aware and body-conscious. They are acutely aware of others, and how they come across. In fact, these people are especially aware of their personal "backdrop"--they consider what the people they're with, and the environments they are in, do to their own image. Often, Leo rising natives feel as if they are on stage, even in the privacy of their own homes!

They are given to rash decisions, temper tantrums, and excesses. However, they have plenty of staying power, drive, and their idealism keeps them from getting into too much trouble. The desire to oversee the goings-on in their circle can sometimes amount to bossiness. If this desire doesn't go too far, however, it can just mean a person who wants to make sure the people they love are all right. Many Leo rising people are managers, either by profession or character.

The tendency to overestimate things, and themselves, is generally present. This is due to a natural enthusiasm and optimism about any new undertaking. Sometimes, they are walking commercials. In fact, Leo rising people make excellent promoters.

Leo rising people are generally demonstrative, and given to grand gestures. Drama comes naturally to these natives. In fact, some are so caught up in fiction, they're a little blind to fact. They have an unusual need to be admired.

Leo Ascendants often have a strong physical constitution. They pay special attention to their personal appearance and mannerisms. Usually, they choose clothing and hairstyles that are youthful. Their manner is authoritarian and strong.

No matter their age in real-world terms, Leo rising people are kids at heart. They are fun-loving and warm; generous and spirited.

Just how magnanimous and outgoing a Leo rising individual is will be modified by the placement of the Sun by sign and house. This is because the ruling planet of a Leo Ascendant is the Sun. For example, a Leo rising person with Sun in Virgo may not come across as strongly as a Leo rising person with Sun in Aries. No matter the placement of the Sun, however, Leo rising natives are quite self-aware and optimistic. They have a natural flair for presentation, an eye for quality, and a hard-to-resist warmth of style. They want to make things happen, and create a stir.

Cancer Ascendant Traits

These people come across as gentle creatures. There's something familiar about them -- they're the guy or gal next door. When they enter a room, they don't walk in with a splash. Instead, they move to the sides and weave their way inwards. These people have a familiar feel to them. Because they are rather sensitive to their environment, they can get flustered easily, especially in public.

Their first instinct, when threatened or on unfamiliar ground, is to protect themselves. When new situations present themselves, they can immediately withdraw or act shy. Generally, these people come across as caring people. They seem quite sweet -- even innocent. Usually, these people appear unassuming enough to be quite approachable. Some Cancer Ascendants, however, have retreated into themselves so much as to be quite the opposite.

Since Capricorn is on the Descendant, Cancer Ascendant people are looking for structure and security in their partner and their relationship. These people function best when their partner displays strength, financial and emotional stability, and know-how. In fact, many Cancer Ascendants prefer it when their relationship has well-defined rules. Security is the basic need, and they are generally more than willing to give up some personal freedom in order to get it. In some cases, Cancer Ascendant people can surprise their partners. Why? Because they come across as rather unassuming, family-oriented people. When it comes to marriage, they have a rather matter-of-fact, practical approach.

Gemini Ascendant Traits

Those born with Gemini rising see the world as a place to learn. They are curious about the people around them. Sounds similar to Sagittarius rising? Well it is, but there are some important differences. While Sagittarius seeks to expand their mental and physical horizons in a broad sense, Gemini is mostly interested in moving about in their social circles.

These are people who love to ask questions, to move around freely, and to mingle. Definitely restless and often quick in physical expression, natives of the Gemini Ascendant exude an air of impatience even if they don't mean it. In fact, there is a cleverness to Gemini Ascendants that can intimidate some, especially sensitive folk. Their facility with words can be a wonderful asset, although sometimes Gemini rising individuals identify too much with their mental agility and forget, in their personal interactions and communications, to nurture the people around them. A certain lack of warmth in presentation can be the result, and although this style is generally a facade, it is not immediately apparent to most. People with, for example, predominant Water signs may feel a little ill at ease with Gemini rising people (that is, before they get to know them more personally), while strong Air types more fully appreciate the fun and cleverness of these individuals.

I have found two styles of presentation most common with Gemini rising people. One style is bubbly, changeable, talkative, and a little quirky. These natives are interesting and fun. They constantly explain things, whether it's their own behavior and opinion or those of the world around them. Another distinct "style" is a rather cool and intellectual demeanor  These natives are often quite witty and clever, but they present themselves in a less cheerful and changeable way than the first group. Their observations are sharp and the overall manner is a tad brusque. No matter the style, Gemini rising natives are given to analysis and making sense of their world. Their powers of observation are well-developed, they are mentally active (more often than not, their minds are racing!), and they almost always have something bright or witty to say. It is easy for individuals with this position to get sidetracked, as their curiosity is large, their minds are quick, and their attention spans rather short!

As children, natives born with a Gemini Ascendant are often labelled as the intellectual, inquisitive, and perhaps odd child. Many feel their upbringing lacked some warmth.

In one-to-one relationships, Gemini rising people often seek a certain amount of personal freedom and space. They enjoy intellectual debates and exchanging ideas. Although they often demand a fair amount of freedom, they are often just as willing to give their partners room to breathe.

Taurus Ascendant Traits

Slow, steady, and capable are adjectives that we can safely attach to individuals born with a Taurus Ascendant. These natives have tremendous stamina and staying power. They're often quite loyal to those they care about. Although they generally don't come on strong, they have personal presence; and they fairly radiate stability.

The sign on the Ascendant generally reveals how people start anything new. Taurus, by nature, is resistant to change. It can be difficult to sway Taurus rising natives--they're often rather stubborn and fixed in their ways. Their first responses are to feel things out, not in the way a Pisces might attune to their environment, but in the realm of the five senses. They have well-developed sense of smell and touch, and respond to the material world. Theirs is a practical approach to life. Security is one of their foremost considerations before undertaking anything new.

Taurus rising natives are often quite cautious and careful. With a fixed sign on the Ascendant, they are not known for their flexibility. Rather, they possess  determined single-mindedness.

More than most, Taurus rising prefers the "good things" in life. Self-indulgence can be a weakness for many with this Ascendant. Often collectors in some way, Taurus rising natives place a lot of value on their material possessions.

Taurus rising individuals prefer to dress in quality clothes with a comfortable feel to them. They are rarely ostentatious in their presentation. Many have strong and sturdy physiques.

Often rather possessive in partnership, these natives won't easily break up their relationships. Although they are not particularly jealous, they view their partners as their personal property. Intensity and loyalty are especially important to Taurus rising natives. These are highly sensual people who prefer the comforts that a one-to-one, stable partnership offers. Although Taurus rising individuals value harmony and calm, their partnerships may be on the passionate side.

Taurus rising natives are often very comforting to be around. They have a stability about them that is soothing, and an inner harmony that is attractive.

Aries Ascendant Traits

People with Aries Ascendants are direct and quick. Their first instinct is to do, rather than think. Planning ahead? Forget it. Aries rising simply charges forward without much ado.

This position does not make a person aggressive. Forthright, yes, but aggression is too strong a word for these natives. They have a youthful, direct manner that sees what it wants and generally goes for it. At the same time, there isn't any malice in their intent.

Some Aries rising people are competitive, but they generally put most of the pressure on themselves. These people love to come out ahead in all that they do. They get ready quickly, walk quickly, and have little patience for dilly-dallying. Their temper is quick, too. It's also quick to disappear. Rarely do you find Aries rising people holding grudges. Their mannerisms are rather simple and straightforward.

Aries rising loves action, and is often trying to stir up some activity. Their strengths lie in their enterprising ways. Finishing things they start does not always come as easily, unless the ruler, Mars, is placed in a more tenacious sign, such as Taurus or Scorpio.

Aries Ascendant often gives a rather swift walk, with the head leaning forward slightly. This walk is surprisingly distinctive. Headaches, and sinus and eye problems are the usual physical complaints of this position. Rashes and acne on the face and shoulders sometimes occur. Broad shoulders and slim hips are common. Often, Aries rising people are quick to smile, and they possess a youthful charm throughout life.

Probably early on in life, Aries rising people got typecast as the "independent" child. As adults, people with Aries Ascendants often stick to that role in life. People don't run to help them out -- they appear quite fine doing things on their own. These people have learned to be self-reliant, and this generally stems from their early experiences.

Despite a rather brusque and independent manner, these natives are usually very willing to compromise in their relationships, and are very attached to the people they hold dear.

What is an Ascendant/Rising Sign?

The Ascendant (also known the "rising sign") is the sign on the cusp of the first house of the natal chart. It is the sign (and degree of that sign) that is rising on the Eastern horizon at the moment of birth, with respect to the place of birth.

The Ascendant is one of the four angles of the chart. The other three are the Descendant (directly opposite the Ascendant), the Imum Coeli (IC), and the Midheaven (MC).

The Ascendant defines, in part, the first impression we make on others in a personal rather than professional sense. It represents our physical appearance, our physical bodies and overall health, and the body ego. The Ascendant is often referred to as the mask we wear, although I don't consider it to be as superficial as this might suggest. What it does represent is our natural and personal defence mechanisms that we use to adapt to, and cope with, our environment.

The Ascendant also shows our first impressions of the world around us, and reveals our expectations of the world around us--whether we are naturally hesitant or enthusiastic, for example. How we begin new projects, and our attitude towards new experiences come under the rule of the Ascendant.

The Mystery of Scorpio

Numerology is often a huge part of Astrology. Every sun sign vibrates to a number and given below is an explanation of the number to which every sign vibrates to! The interesting aspect of it is the Scorpio vibration to Zero which is explained here by the help of Linda Goodman’s text Love Signs. Enjoy the post and hope you learn something fascinating...

The Sun (ruler of Leo) vibrates to the number Ten or One (10 = 1), which it equals when added via the normal mathematical process.

The Moon (ruler of Cancer) vibrates to the number Two (2).

Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius) vibrates to the number Three (3).

Uranus (ruler of Aquarius) vibrates to the number Four (4).

Mercury (ruler of Gemini and temporary ruler of Virgo, until Virgo's true ruling planet, Vulcan, is discovered and identified) vibrates to the number Five (5).

Venus (ruler of Libra and temporary ruler of Taurus, until Pan-Horus is discovered as the true ruler of Taurus) vibrates to the number Six (6).

Neptune (ruler of Pisces) vibrates to the number Seven (7).

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) vibrates to the number Eight (8).

Mars (ruler of Aries) vibrates to the number Nine (9).

You might have noticed the omission of a number that vibrates to Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) in this list. Many astrologers and students of numerology will tell you that Pluto vibrates to the number Nine (9), sharing this number with Mars (ruler of Aries). This is not true. Pluto, like all the other planets, vibrates to its own personal "number" - distinctly and individually its own - sharing it with no other planet or Luminary. Since we've already covered the numbers One (1) through Nine (9) - and Ten (10) as Leo's Sun vibration, bringing us back to One (1) again, full circle - you may wonder how Pluto can possess its own number. You will see.

First, it's important to realize that the Mars Nine (9) vibration is the Masculine vibration of the Universe, representing and symbolizing the ultimate MASCULINE principle in all of Life and Love. The Venus Six (6) vibration is the Feminine vibration of the Universe, representing and symbolizing the ultimate FEMININE principle in all of Life and Love. Six and Nine. 6 and 9. The Feminine and Masculine vibratory numbers, or 9 and 6. Male and Female. Positive-Negative. Dark-Light. (Polarity.) Notice that when the Feminine number of Venus - Six (6) is turned upside down (reversing its polarity), it becomes a Nine (9). Likewise, when the Masculine number of Mars - Nine (9) is turned upside down (reversing its polarity), it becomes a Six (6). Man and Woman then - are inseparable. Each is an equal part of the other. The Masculine-Feminine Principles are totally interchangeable. Yet, one is always aiming in a direction reverse from the other.

Notice that both the Six (6) and the Nine (9) when the "tail" is removed - become a circle. The circle is the secret of Twin Soul blending - the deepest mystery of the Sun Sign of Scorpio, and Scorpio's ruling planet, the awesome, powerful Pluto. For the number to which Pluto vibrates is - ZERO. The circle. The circle (0) represents Eternity, for it symbolizes the Serpent, eating its own tail. From the Masculine (Positive) head of the Serpent flows the male-positive energy force - into the Female (Negative) tail of the Serpent. Simultaneously, from the Feminine (Negative) tail of the Serpent flows the female-negative energy force into the Serpent's Masculine (Positive) head. This is the secret of Scorpio, the Sun Sign of "sex" - and this is the energy behind the great Power of Scorpio's ruling planet, Pluto. Zero. The Circle. 0. The Serpent, eating its own tail. The symbol of Eternity. For only when all polarities - male and female, youth and age, dark and light, night and day – thus feed energy simultaneously into one another, and blend their energies – rather than continue to oppose one another - can true power exist.

Pluto's vibratory Zero also contains the secret mystery of Christianity's Holy Trinity. "Father-Son-and-Holy Ghost." The "son" (humans, of both sexes) is masculine energy. The "Holy Ghost" (Christ spirit) is feminine energy. When each flows into the other simultaneously (instead of remaining in opposition), a Third Energy is created, which is both, yet neither - neutral and ALL-POWERFUL - i.e.: "The Father" (God). This Third Energy, composed of the Masculine and Feminine combined, flowing into each other, and not in opposition, creates many miracles: The Great Power of Divinity. The conception of a child. The conception of an idea (adding the "1" for love, this becomes an ideal). The energy that powers spacecraft from other solar systems. It is in no way an accident that Kekule, who made the monumental discovery of the benzene ring structure, which paved the way for the theoretical aspect of organic chemistry, said that he dreamed repeatedly of "a snake, eating its own tail" before the concept occurred to him.

Therefore, all the mysterious Pluto-Scorpio "power" comes from a subconscious knowledge of this Zero principle that the perfect blend between Masculine and Feminine creates a Third Energy Force, which is both, yet neither - neutral and ALL-POWERFUL - because it does not oppose, but causes polarities to simultaneously blend and flow into each other. Another indication, another "secret" of Pluto's ZERO circle, is that: what happens when you add the ZERO (0) to any other number? Any banker or mathematics student can tell you that it "increases" the power of the number. Obviously, the sum of one dollar grows larger (has more "power") as you "add the zeros." Thus does $1.00 become $10.00 or $100.00 or $1,000 or $10,000 and so on.

ZERO, then, equals POWER. That's nice for all Scorpios to know – as long as they don't forget what causes the power. The Serpent, eating its own tail - Eternity's Secret.

Weekly Predictions... Pisces (3-9 Dec,'12)

Jupiter breeds optimism and courage, so if you need some encouragement to make an important move, you have it in spades! There has been a distinct lack of joy in the cosmos recently, so although you might not want to go on a reckless spend-fest or throw the party of the year, you should exude confidence, whether to your nearest and dearest or to people who could have a serious say in your future.

There’s no point in doing things half-heartedly at the moment: these influences require big statements. You won’t have been the only one feeling the weight of recent events; but you can be the one to lead others out of their slough of despond.

Weekly Predictions... Aquarius (3-9 Dec,'12)

At last! Some jolly influences to lighten your load and get you in the mood for the festivities ahead. You cannot always turn a situation around simply by beaming positive thoughts at it, but an upbeat attitude makes you a much nicer person to be around, and it does a huge amount for your overall sense of well-being. November was a largely challenging month, even if for you this translated only as a huge work-load, but you’ll be an exception to the Aquarian rule if nothing got in the way of your plans.

With this in mind, it may now be possible to reverse an earlier decision or at least get someone to look at a situation with a fresh pair of eyes.

Weekly Predictions... Capricorn (3-9 Dec,'12)

After the storm comes the peace. Whether or not the earth shifted on its axis last week, you may still have felt a degree of tension in the air, and perhaps one or two people acted inappropriately, but this is a different climate in which to go about your business; indeed there could be some truly happy events in the pipeline. At the moment the sun is making its way through the reclusive twelfth house, so you may feel out of the loop or not quite your robust self.

It is at this time that the work of the unconscious is being done, which means your dreams have much to tell you about hidden agendas, even things to come. So, don’t go short of sleep and pay attention to signs and signals.

Weekly Predictions... Sagittarius (3-9 Dec,'12)

How good is it to wake up on a Monday morning with Jupiter and the sun in perfect alignment. This is one of the most ebullient aspects in the astrological firmament, and it will boost your hopes and, if necessary, help you get back in the saddle. All your troubles may not be over, but somehow you’ll have a better grip on current issues: you can see life after drama! Of course, this week may contain a very special occasion, which is yet another reason for a resurgence of optimism; plus there is the real possibility of a positive result.

Is there a bad word to say about this astro-scape? Not really, only that if you are hoping to change a situation that cannot be changed, you’ll be wasting a lot of good energy.

Weekly Predictions... Scorpio (3-9 Dec,'12)

The Christmas spirit is arriving a little early this year. Or at least, there are signs of joy and peace on the horizon. In part this has to do with a renewed sense of purpose in you; then again you may have clear evidence that success is within your grasp. There’s no doubting that the last few weeks have been tough, but going over and over events does not help; sometimes you cannot find a reason for what happened – you just have to put one foot forward, then another.

With such a lot of good will in the air, fences can be mended and bridges built now, so don’t be too proud to pick up that phone, send that email and show your willingness to talk things through.

Weekly Predictions... Libra (3-9 Dec,'12)

Life is moving fast at the moment, not just because Mercury is back in direct mode and clearing up mysteries and obstructions, but through Jupiter’s generous presence. If you feel you may have acted in a less than reasonable way or that you had written off a project or association before you should, now is the time to put on your knee-pads and grovel.

On the other hand, maybe someone has reconsidered his or her opinion and is ready to talk new terms. Good things come out of difficulties, whether this message is delivered to you immediately or it takes a little more time. When you rise above a situation, it’s amazing how easy it all becomes.

Weekly Horoscope... Virgo (3-9 Dec,'12)

Jupiter is back on top again, which you can think of as a tail-wind helping you make a success of your endeavours or simply to regain your optimism and determination. While your instincts may be to allow others to offer you an opportunity or recognize your virtues, this is the perfect time to reveal your talents and make clear your ambitions and intentions.

When you display confidence and commitment, others will notice. Ask yourself which is more important: that you play safe, stand back and let others take the glittering prizes or that you take a risk and maybe win one of your own? There are no guarantees except one: that you when you display courage, there is always a reward.

Weekly Predictions... Leo (3-9 Dec,'12)

Being on a see-saw was fun when you were a child, but it’s unsettling as an adult when life is pitching you from one extreme to another, as well may be the case at the moment. Jupiter takes over from where Saturn and Pluto left off so there could be light at the end of that proverbial tunnel. At the very least your spirits should be higher this week, enabling you to look more philosophically at events that may have recently plunged you into gloom.

Perhaps you are among that little clutch of Leos for whom life has been as normal as blueberry pie, or even taking you to new heights of success, but whatever your position, complacency is never a good thing.

Weekly Predictions... Cancer (3-9 Dec,'12)

It is a new month and time to make some fresh affirmations, first among which may be not to have such fixed expectations that you can’t accommodate even a minor change. The end of November came in a big astrological package, such that many lives were changed and certainly many agendas. So, you won’t be the only one looking to rewrite a script, and review your perception of someone.

On the other hand, maybe one of your ships came in, and you’re now in the mood to celebrate. A sun-Jupiter opposition is the quintessence of celebration, although sometimes difficulties are exaggerated so that you need to get a sense of proportion. Either way, a positive attitude is a serious plus.

Weekly Predictions... Gemini (3-9 Dec,'12)

The lunar eclipse behind you, life could be looking somewhat different. And if you sailed through the last couple of weeks, you are still at the beginning of a new cycle. First and foremost this new phase is linked with your love life or close working partnerships, and even without the benefit of events you can put your finger on, you should begin to notice a different energy and tone to one or more relationships.

Jupiter in your sign is working at the top of its game, bringing joy into your existence or showing you the direction in which happiness lies. You’re almost at the end of a long and eventful year; now is the time to bury the hatchet and list all those blessings you have in your life.

Weekly Predictions... Taurus (3-9 Dec,'12)

Your bank account could be feeling the pressure, but, as they say, Christmas comes but once a year! You may, of course, be receiving funds and signing contracts that will generate extra income. But, one way or another, self worth is the issue du jour. Whatever recent events may have done to your optimism, these influences are all about putting the past behind you and expecting the future to be different.

You are a high achiever, Taurus, and someone who rarely gives in, but what you sometimes lack is the ability to let go and move on. Do not be afraid to do so now. If someone offers you an apology, an olive branch or a new way forward, accept with grace.

Weekly Predictions... Aries (3-9 Dec,'12)

Last week was the week that was! So, if you are thanking your lucky stars or nursing something of a bruise, remind yourself that it’s a new day and a new dawn. You are on a journey, whether this manifests as taking a trip in real terms or making progress with a challenging situation. You should have hope in your heart, focus in your efforts and plenty of good will to beam at other people, no matter how they may have mishandled things or failed to be your champion.

This is an excellent week to start a new venture or to put fresh ideas in front of those who can help you turn them into realities. A week is a long time in politics, and it’s certainly an age in the life of Aries.

Pisces Moon Sign

Those born with a Pisces Moon will often have strong psychic abilities. They find it easy to walk a mile in someone else's shoes and are amazingly compassionate and full of love. Unfortunately, this capacity also makes it easy for them to lose themselves in others' problems. They are natural romantics, and never forget a gift on Valentine's Day or someone's birthday.

They have a wonderfully silly sense of humor that some may find a bit off-base. Pisces Moon appears to know all the nuances of human behavior. They are easily amused. They may be labelled as "spaced out," but they are deeper than most people think. They are easily misunderstood since they often get lost in their dreams. Without the time to drift, Pisces Moon can become overwhelmed with reality. They can easily become despondent by those around them if they are not careful.

Moon in Pisces is sweet and soft-hearted. They genuinely care about others and are an easy touch for a hard luck story. This Moon Sign sees themselves in everyone, so they empathize with almost everyone in one way or another. They need to learn not to absorb what others are feeling, as they can be overwhelmed with the emotions they sense around them. They have an uncanny ability to understand things they have not actually experienced, which makes them very talented performers if they choose that line of work. For those who are too shy to climb up on stage, Moon in Pisces can be a talented writer, musician or artist.

If they don't take care of themselves, Pisces Moon can get walked on. To prevent that, they need to recognize when they need a break to recharge themselves. While they need companionship, solitude is equally as important. They are very sensitive, and can easily be hurt by insults, rejection and criticism. These soft-hearted people can get a bit of help from a religion or philosophy that will give them more strength than they have themselves. This Moon can find a lot of fulfillment by being involved with charities or spiritual causes. They are romantic and creative. Being very imaginative, they can be farsighted or impractical, depending on the situation. They may develop anxieties during their lifetimes. They make loyal friends who appreciate beauty in all its forms.

Pisces Moon Sign tries to avoid the mundane details of life. They are curious, almost to the point of recklessness. As a child, they can easily be bullied into going along with the crowd. This sensitivity needs to be nurtured rather than stomped on. When they feel unappreciated, they can retreat into a fantasy world that is may be hard to let go. They are easily discouraged and may fall into self-pity or a preoccupation with what can go wrong. It is important for them to have a meaning to their life. They are not attracted to material possessions, but they do like to show their emotions.
